The Baptist State Convention of NC has entered into a partnership with the Green Mountain Baptist Association of Vermont as part of Impact Northeast. This Partnership began in 2005 and continue at least through the end of 2009. NC volunteers will have the opportunity to serve in the areas of construction, evangelism, leadership training, VBS, sports clinics, community canvassing, revival teams, camps, prayer walks, and more.
Requests are now available!
A projects list will be continuously updated and can be reviewed at any time by clicking on “Opportunities to Serve” on the left-hand menu. All projects are field-generated by Baptist churches and entities, and approved by the Partnership Coordinator in Vermont. Arrangements (and thus cost) for each project will vary somewhat.
Vermont offers North Carolina Baptists a chance to serve Christ in a much-needed area of our nation. Vermont is the second most unchurched state in the U.S. The need for sharing Christ and furthering His Kingdom is great. North Carolina Baptists are also encouraged to consider ways to involve and invite Vermont Baptists to be on mission with us here in our state as well. Be in prayer about this exciting Partnership and your participation in it!
