EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA

 Amish Buggy  Philadelphia Skyline

The Baptist State Convention of NC has entered into a partnership with the Eastern part of Pennsylvania, as part of Appalachian Regional Ministries. This Partnership began in January of 2008 and will continue until the end of 2010. It will cover the Central and Eastern part of the state, including projects in Philadelphia. NC volunteers will have the opportunity to serve in the areas of evangelism, outreach, leadership training, VBS, construction, sports camps, community canvassing, camps, prayer walks, and more.

A projects list will be continuously updated and can be requested at any time by clicking on “Opportunities to Serve” on the left-hand menu. All projects will be field-generated by Baptist churches and entities in Eastern Pennsylvania, and approved by the Partnership Coordinator. Arrangements (and thus cost) for each project will vary somewhat.

Eastern Pennsylvania offers North Carolina Baptists the chance to serve Christ in a much-needed area of the world. Many of our projects will involve work in areas that church planters are establishing new work. It is truly exciting to see what God is doing in these areas! North Carolina Baptists will have the chance to assist Pennsylvania Baptists in fulfilling their God-given mandate to reach their communities for Christ. Be in prayer about this exciting Partnership and your participation in it.
