| The Baptist State Convention of NC has entered into a partnership with the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention. This Partnership began in 2005 and will continue at least through the end of 2009. NC volunteers will have the opportunity to serve in the areas of evangelism, leadership training, VBS, construction, sports outreach, community canvassing, revival teams, camps, prayer walks, and more. |
| A projects list will be continuously updated and can be requested at any time by clicking on “Opportunities to Serve” on the left-hand menu. All projects will be field-generated by Baptist churches and entities in Hawaii and the Pacific, and approved by the Partnership Coordinator. Arrangements (and thus cost) for each project will vary somewhat. |
| While an exotic and beautiful place, Hawaii and the Pacific presents unique ministry challenges. A tremendously diverse population peoples Hawaii, including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino and Pacific Islanders. North Carolina Baptists will discover exciting opportunities in assisting Hawaiian Baptists in reaching their communities for Christ.
