ARMENIA PARTNERSHIP SPECIAL PROJECTS
CHURCH PLANTER PROJECT
Armenian Baptists have over 40 men trained or in the Seminary who are willing to move into villages with their families to begin new work. We are asking associations, churches and individuals to adopt a church planter for a four-year period. If you could only support a shorter period we will try to work with you also. $150 per month for two years, $120.00 for third year and $90.00 for fourth year will support the church planters and their families. These pastors will report and communicate with their sponsors concerning activities in their church. Volunteer teams from North Carolina will have the opportunity to engage in a number of various projects. The purpose of the project is to work with the national pastors in reaching their communities for Christ.
Armenia Baptist has over 100 congregations and approximately 15 church buildings. Church planting is not an easy work because the country’s official church, The Armenian Apostolic Church, would prefer other religions stay out of the country. As you can see, the need for church planting and additional buildings is a high priority.
The following steps are needed to become an Armenia Church Planter Sponsor:
- Pray
- $150.00 per month for two years, $120.00 per month for third year and $90.00 per month for the last year
- Pray continually for your church planter and his church. You will receive a photo of him and also progress reports.

MEDICAL and DENTAL PROJECT
Our partners have requested assistance with medical clinics. Medical care is available in Armenia, and generally, it is good care. However, the economic conditions of Armenia have rendered medical care a luxury expense. We can provide needed medical assistance to those who cannot afford medical care, while at the same time assisting our brothers and sisters in spreading the Gospel and with their church planting efforts. There can be special medical dental teams go to Armenia. These teams are encouraged to take refurbished or new reading glasses for doctors to distribute to Armenians who cannot afford eye care.
