Our Staff

At Camp Caraway, we believe that the key to an outstanding camp program lies in the ability to put together an outstanding staff who truly care about each boy who comes to camp. A great amount of time, effort and prayer goes into the process of selecting, training, and supervising the 25 dedicated staffers who serve as Cabin Leaders and Cabin Assistants at Camp Caraway. All Cabin Leaders have finished at least one year in college, and all Cabin Assistants have finished at least their junior year in high school. In addition to our summer staff, we have excellent pastors and missionaries who lead our daily Bible and mission study sessions. The pastor also leads the camp in an informal decision service on the last evening of the camp session.

Fun and Safe

Safety is one of our main concerns at Camp Caraway. Because of this, campers have cabin leader supervision at all times whileat camp. In addition to the special training all staff members receive in working with their particular age group assignment, they also are trained in first aid, CPR, and water rescue. A certified lifeguard is on duty at all times at the Caraway pool.

Great Food

The dining hall is designed to feed the entire camp at one sitting. Campers enjoy three hot, nutritious, meals each day. Campers eat family style with their own cabin group. The kitchen and dining facilities consistently receive a grade "A" rating.
